Kathleen Norris, Managing Principal
Kathleen Norris (Principal/Urban Fast Forward) is a specialist in urban real estate and revitalization. She made her entry into this practice area as Leasing Consultant for the Gateway Quarter, in Cincinnati’s historic Over the Rhine, where she developed the concept for a new destination retail center. In 2 years, she recruited more than 20 retailers and restaurant operators to Over the Rhine, creating one of the most popular new shopping and dining destinations in Greater Cincinnati. She has since become one of the most sought after consultants and practitioners on the real estate issues pertinent to urban revitalization, known for a creative approach paired with understanding of and sensitivity to community issues. At present Ms. Norris is a consultant on urban revitalization, comprehensive planning and form based code zoning revisions and works regularly with a range of local governments, economic development organizations, developers and community revitalization corporations on issues pertinent to urban real estate.
Ms. Norris is also a licensed realtor, and Managing Principal or her own firm, Urban Fast Forward. In that capacity she is currently recruiting tenants several high profile clients as well as a number of neighborhood business districts. She also represents some of Greater Cincinnati’s best independent restaurateurs and retailers as well as a select list of regional and national clients. Prior to becoming a realtor and consultant, Ms. Norris was an arts industry executive for more than 30 years, serving as CEO of performing arts companies in Cincinnati, New York and Sydney, Australia. She’s a fourth generation real estate professional, mother of two spectacular daughters and a native Cincinnatian.
John Yung AICP, Senior Project Executive
Mr. Yung is a specialist in urban core and community planning. His work focuses on revitalizing and enriching city centers and neighborhoods through a diverse array of planning strategies He is skilled in land use code analysis, development plan review, and project implementation and has expertise in engaging both community members and elected officials. His work has included comprehensive planning, economic development, zoning code development, public speaking, community engagement and urban forestry. Mr. Yung is a regular contributor to the blog UrbanCincy.com and podcast. He has coordinated and hosted panel discussions on urban issues in partnership with the UC Niehoff Studio. He is also member of the Over-the-Rhine Foundation Board.
Blake Bartley, Senior Real Estate Executive
Blake Bartley is an urban real estate specialist with an in depth knowledge of neighborhood revitalization strategies and tenant recruitment. Mr. Bartley has been project lead on leasing assignments for such clients as Model Group and Pleasant Ridge Development Corporation, bringing new retailers and restaurants to key Cincinnati neighborhoods.
Trained as an Urban Planner, Mr. Bartley was proud to have his Senior Thesis referenced in the Hillside Trust’s Scenic View Study for the City of Cincinnati as a case study to block potential view shed compromising development south of Eden Park. Before becoming a real estate professional he spent several years as a design professional, with an expertise in visualizing proposed real estate developments, and was published as one of the top visualization artists in the world by the CG School.
Wanting to get back to his urban planning roots and follow his passion for cities, Mr. Bartley became a licensed real estate agent and now applies his diverse skill set to creating positive change in cities and urban neighborhoods through his real estate and revitalization consulting services.
Paige Hensley, Leasing & Sales Agent
Paige is a licensed real estate agent with a comprehensive knowledge of the urban environment from her educational background in urban planning. She has previous experience in nonprofit historic revitalization organizations and a passion for preserving the historic fabric of her home city of Cincinnati. From these experiences, she has developed a specialty for historic and industrial spaces.
Pat Feghali, Leasing & Sales Agent
Pat Feghali, trained as a planner and an attorney, has experience on many sides of urban real estate, from developing office and residential property in Over the Rhine to managing and leasing properties in other Cincinnati neighborhoods.
Pat is a co-owner of Goods, a collectively owned and run retail space on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine. She is a member of the Mt. Adams Civic Association, foundation member of an urbanist book club, former host of a local music and issues radio show and guitarist/vocalist in a local rock band. She is also an avid pedestrian and cyclist and expert on Cincinnati’s public stairs.
